After each use

  • Follow the exact cleaning method and dishwasher placement stated for the base, lid and removable parts.
  • Open vents and clips only as directed; do not force a seal or gasket out of its channel.
  • Check corners, threads, rims and seal channels for trapped residue.
  • Dry components fully before nesting or closing them for storage.
  • Return matching lids and bases to the same assigned zone.

Before refilling

01

Base

Look for cracks, chips, distortion or damage that could affect normal use.

02

Rim

Confirm the contact surface is clean and unobstructed.

03

Lid

Check clips, threads, vents and hinge points without assuming they are replaceable.

04

Seal or gasket

Inspect its position and condition; remove it only when the manufacturer directs that process.

Retire or isolate a questionable part

Kitchen Flow Lab does not set universal replacement intervals. Materials and designs age differently, and a cosmetic mark is not the same as structural damage. Stop and consult the manufacturer when a component is cracked, warped, no longer closes as designed, has a damaged seal or has been used outside its specified temperature and care limits.

Lid compatibilityPrevents a visually similar lid from being forced onto the wrong base.Keep one photo or written pairing note.
Replacement sourceShows whether one damaged part can be replaced without buying a new set.Record an official replacement-parts page when one exists.

Care claims are model-specific

Dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer instructions may differ between a base, lid, vent and seal. Follow the documentation supplied with the exact model and contact the manufacturer when directions conflict.
